What are you doing at the Mopar Nationals
« on: August 03, 2008 - 11:42:37 AM »
 Hello all
Like alot of you I have attended the Mopar Nats for years .
None of my cars are finished so every year I go tear through the parts section in search for parts for my cars . I also look at any of the new reproduction parts that many interest me to compare to the originals or nos I already have.
Its a great place to pick others minds and knowledge of the differences in years and parts and see the descrepencies first hand  . All the while saying hello to friends and vendors in know through the hobby and past purchases.
Last but probably the most enjoyable I go through the car corral and check out all the beautiful  ebodys at the show looking at how things correctly go together if I am unsure.

So why do you guy go ?
To show your car off that you worked so hard on
   Visit with friends
Look for parts    :bananasmi  :bananasmi  :bananasmi
Just enjoy the show cars  :droolingbounce:
Get a break from regular life and relax :bigshades:

So what do you enjoy most about the show ?
Why do you come to the show or keep coming back year after year ?

 Thanks

I started going to the Mopar Nationals in 1985 and have not missed a year since then. I have always been able to pick up parts cheaper for my projects and I like seeing up close what I'm buying. They usually have a show special and free shipping if buying at the show. I know lots of the venders by name after this many years and I never get tired of looking throught the swap meet for good deals. I like to check out the new reproduction parts first hand so I can see the quality for myself. The show cars are great to look at and the fun field is always full of many great cars. The car car corral is always filled with expensive mopar cars but they always start high and work down from there.
It is just about the only time I get to see certain people that do not live close to me but share the same love for the hobby that I do. I always seem to meet new people every year and really enjoy talking to them about these cars and the hobby. The night cruise at Heath, Ohio is full of great cars and people sitting at the edge of the street watching them all go by. I stayed on brice road in Ohio till last year as the cops have really taken the fun out of there night time cruise so I moved to Heath which is closer to the event.

We as G&D Musclecarparts will be there mainly selling parts but maybe buying a few deals. If you have any deals that are good pass them on and I will let you know if we are interested. Thanks, Amanda
