I'm in Indiana.

Glen, you can post in "Parts Wanted" just wanted to let you know.

are you going stock with your car? or modified.... I know Stroker was selling a rear, but it was more race minded...

OOOOOPS!!!
Sorry guys, I posted this in the wrong place.
I'd like the stock set up, The reason I'm going to the 8 3/4 is to handle more horse power. My stock 318 will be replaced by a 400HP small block. I just need to find one of them too.......

I have an 8 3/4 open rear from a 72 charger. not sure of the gears.  you would need to relocate the spring pearches.

A nice upgrade for your challenger would be to install a B-body rear. A spring relocator set and a 8 3/4 rear from a late sixties Coronet or Belvedere for example would save about an inch on the inside letting you put bigger tires in the wheelwells.

'71 and up B-body rears don't work because they are too wide

my b body rear is 55" flange to flange and 44" perch to perch center... 10" wheels and 5" backspace gets bi tires in there...
