Fender tag question on E Body, 1970

1970 RT/SE Challenger fender tag reads:

V08 Delete Vinyl Roof

V1C Full Vinyl Top - Black Alligator

Why the contridiction?

V08 = Paint, Trim & Vinyl Roof Edit Waiver, NOT a delete

V1C = Black Alligator was 1969 only (maybe V1G ?)

V1G (Black Gator Grain Vinyl Top), so its OK with V08

The gator tops were a brownish mottled black originally though, not black.

You sure can,  It is expensive but it is of the highest quality and looks 100% to the original product :2thumbs:

try Legendary Auto Interiors, they are reproducing it and it has only been released with in the last 6 months :woo:
