Had my Girl Friend to go over and check on him as well.  Will have to check on him this weekend for sure.
Got a pretty good start on my M46 optioned Barracuda restoration but now it is on hold till I can gather more funds.  Still need a few parts for it.  SIU Graduate 75 AAS Automotive Tech, 94 BS Advanced Tech Studies, 1997 MSED Workforce Education and Development

Moparal sat around getting healthy today by helping me set my valve lash.  What a great guy!  Hope you're doing well!

Al .... I just saw this thread for the first time tonight.   I am in shock after reading all the responses and what you are trying to deal with this "your way".      Listen to your wife and doctors and be patient with the recovery.

We all need you to get better and continue feeding great information to us all.

All the best wishes and prayers from Gary in Toronto.

Just found this thread.........Guys, Al is just like the rest of us.......We think any aliment is only temporary and all will be ok.  Thats what I thought about my back last year and my eye most recently.   Well , the drs have to have their turn.  Al, don't fool around with leg pains and such.  We need you here and I am sure Peggy needs you there.  Take care, David

By the way, I have passed by ChallengerHK's place a few times  in the past few weeks and his car is sometimes there and sometimes not.  So he is still in Parkton...............

Good to know HK is still around. Alan, I am glad you are ok but if you dont do what the dr.s are telling you how long do you think it will last? Take it easy and give your body a chance to heal.

Alan...............remember : Wisdom is knowing what is the right thing to do, and then doing it. Wise up and take care of yourself, otherwise others will have to take care of you. Not meant to tick you off, just a caring thought and concern buddy.  :2thumbs:

Im up this morning. Still cant walk on my leg yet for some reason, but the pain has died down to like 50/50

I go to the doctor at 145 pm today for more tests. Gonna try to get my 499 block into the machine shop this morning for final hone if I can get it into the truck on one leg.  The shop was balancing the rotating assembly while I was off back to work, but now I am forced to stay home. I just sat in my shop yesterday for hours doing very little and working my leg muscles. I left the a/c on all night since today will be 92 degrees. It gets boring in the house.

I know everyone was concerned with me and my health, but I am feeling pretty good and promise to take it easy.  Thanks for the concern guys. It gives me strength.  This problem will pass soon.  Now if I can kick my arthritus problem, It would be terriffic. And find out why my kidnies have been hurting for a few months. I kinda need an overhaul :roflsmiley:

Hi Al,
Been real busy lately and was shocked to see this thread.  :faint:  I'm real concerned for you.  I'm glad that you are feeling better and are moving around a bit more but please listen to what the doctor says.  You're a guy that is always on the move.  Even in the situation you're in you'll probably still accomplish more than what I can do in a month.  But just listen to what the doc says today.

Please keep us updated.  I pray that all will be okay.  :)

Glad to hear you're feeling better. Please don't try to rush things. I know you don't want to sit and twiddle your thumbs, just go slow. OK?

I had a heart attack at 43 and it took me 5 weeks to get back to work full time.

Keep us updated!
