When CP and I started my 451 motor we noticed that the clutch pedal was reasonable insofar as pedal pressure to operate is concerned. However, the travel of the pedal does not go to the floor. It goes maybe 3/4 of the way down. With Neil beneath the car he confirmed that the clutch forks are travelling fully in. Now I believe the 340 Z-Bar is longer than the BB setup correct? Mine reaches the bellhousing pivot point and the frame pivot point just right IE not too long or not too short. If it was a small block unit wouldn't that be a different story? CP and I were at a loss to explain this. Only thing that comes to mind is it is a fork off another vehicle. It worked fine with the 340 in there. the clutch is a 3000LB race unit from Ma Mopar and the disc is a McCleod Ceramic.
