why I love the mopar hobby

The family car was a 1969 Plymouth Custom Suburban with a 383-2V.  My Dad always wished he'd gotten the 4V or even the 440 (for towing) so I tried to help by keeping an eye open in classifieds and used car lots for cars with a 383-4V or 440... such sweet sweet cars I found!  Roadrunners... mmm....

Then the Challenger at the Farm Basket Chicken place near where I worked happened, and small block or not, that hooked me for life.

I know I posted already but I never said what got me hooked on Mopars. My dad bought a used 70 Coronet 440 in 1972 that had a 440 in it. That thing was a monster. That big ole honkin' 4 door did the trick

I blame my dad.  He told stories of his 69 383 Roadrunner.  Until then, I had no idea what a Plymouth was.  So I started looking on the internet, and discovered Mopar.  I already liked the Dodge trucks, and after reading about Cudas and Roadrunners and GTXs, I was hooked.  My first car was a 68 Dart slant six.  Then I sold it for the Barracuda, and a year ago, I bought the wagon.
