The season is near
« on: April 03, 2004 - 08:26:05 AM »
Well my brother just callled me to go to a swap with him and the sun is showing it's face ,soon it will be time to roll again in Cleveland.Gotta hurry up and get the engine back together.I had some ricers move in accross the street last year so I need to remind them what a real car is.I find it very funny when there all standing around out there and I pull the 'Cuda out they try their hardest to not even look at it (as if they didn't notice the pounding glass packs 10 feet away) They like to rev their crappy cars up at 2 am and wake me up so I may need to call them out this summer. One question though ,I have put in a new cam and lifters and fresh bearings and pulled the pistons and honed the bores ,what is a good break-period before I start beating on it too hard?

Once you've got the cam broken in (usualy ~2000 rpm for about 20 mins.), give her 500 miles or so for everything to set, then OPEN HER UP!! ;) :D ;D 8) I think it might start smelling like fried rice around your area pretty soon!!! :o :o ;) ;D

Ravage,

I hear ya, bud!  My next door neighbour OWNS the local speed shop, so not only does he have his RICED out Sunfire (bodyskirt kit, huge rims with low profile tires, neon underglow, neon glow in the dash, black tint, fart can exhaust..the whole package!!) but right across the street I have a family who's 2 kids have a done up Acura and an some other P.O.S. I just moved in last Fall so the Dodge hasn't introduced itself yet, and I am SO looking forward to it!!  Can't wait!  Just another month or so, and OH BABY!!

Yeah it's pretty cool not having to worry about snow, yet 3 hours drive north there is a ski field.  ;D 8)
I've only touched snow once and that was at that ski field.  :P
