Emblems for my 70 R/T
« on: July 14, 2008 - 06:02:48 PM »
Hello, what would be a good place to pick up emblems for my 70 R/T.  It has the grill emblems and stripes but I was looking for the 383 Badges for the hood, Challenger and R/T emblems from the side.  Anyone sell them in one place or do I have to ebay them individually?

Also are they all sticky or do I have to drill holes?  Don't really want to put holes everywhere if not necessary.

Just want to get them asap since the car is in the shop getting new exhaust and brakes.  Want it to look pretty when it's ready for the road.

(EDIT:  LOOKING FOR MEASUREMENTS FOR FENDER EMBLEM PLACEMENT!!!)

Year One has them, along with other sources. The problem is, the hood badges have 2 posts, so you either drill into the hood, or saw the posts off, and glue it on some way. The R/T emblems on the side are the same deal. You can find aftermarket "Challenger" scripts that are stick on...those are the 72-74 emblems.

you can get stick on R/T badges.    I had to trim the posts off of my 440 and SIXPACK badges and then use 3M trim adhesive (be sure to use some was remover on the paint first.)

think I got everthing from Ebay,    Firebird or firethorn collectibles ?   fire-something.

Alright, took awhile (freaking shipping took ages) but I have challenger emblems and R/T emblems (not going to put anything on the hood).  Any pics or measurements on how to place them on the car?  They are sticky's but I"d like em in the exact right spots.
