Each time I sold one of my Challengers I felt sick to my stomach as I watched it drive off.  I expect to keep the one I have now until I’m either dead or just too darn old to drive her.  :2thumbs:

Congrats on the new purchase, and let me be the first to ask for pics.

You bought it off the showroom floor in 70 :eek7: That is awesome. Tell us more.
Well, my dad who was an attorney, won a huge lawsuit for a client & because he represented Las Vegas Dodge, too, he decided to get us boys new Dodge economy cars.  (not many kids are so fortunate to have their dads buy them a car).  We had a paper route to pay for the 60 ford my bro bought from our grandfather, but when dad took us to LV Dodge, I got a red/wht 69 Dart GT & my bro talked my dad into a test driving a Charger R/T that'd just returned from a test drive.  Dad said no, but the promise of good grades & varsity football swayed my dad into getting the Charger for my bro.

While Holly was a way @ college, a semi ran a lite & totalled my Dart, so a settlement of $6K was offered & off I went to the Plymouth dealer.  Learned really quickly how to drive a 4 spd.  It had 3.23's & I remember racing my friend's split window vette on the freeway & burying the speedo @150. (F70 Polyglass tires, probably only rated for 90mph...what a crazy stunt).  That CUda was a chick magnet & when we cruised Fremont st, I adjusted the windshield washer squirters to spray 15' behind the car.  If I saw some cute girls behind me, I'd squirt em.  Got their attention if the Cuda didn't.

Anyway, I put headers on the 383 & cut the hood scoops out.  Ended up throwing a rod thru the block & off the car went to auction.  Sure wish I had that Cuda now.  Got a B5 Ucode auto Cuda, but maybe someday I'll find a Lemon Twist 383 4spd.

Thanks ChallengerHK.  Here's a quick photo taken back in February when I got her.  You can see the FedEx truck that delivered her in the background.  I plan to take some new pictures and post them just as soon as I get her put back together.  I took out the seats and sent then to Legendary to have them restored.  Got them back a couple weeks ago but haven't had a chance to reinstall them yet.
