Nice looking setup, I plan to get my engine bay looking good in the future. rivets should be plenty  strong for a shroud.    :burnout:

I wanted to smooth out the inside of the shroud to reduce the drag of sharp edges and the brackets get in the way.  I figured if  could weld them up I could make the inside completely flat at the same time.  Right now there are some raised sections inside that impede flow.
