It's a 73 340, I'm trying to mic it and find out if it has been re-bored but I can't find the specs on the net.

It miced to 4.037-4.040 (lil surface rust) so I don't think its been rebored. I'm gonna run a hone through them and see how bad they are with rust

Check the top of the piston, most have the part No. then the oversize, eg. .030   :2thumbs:

I got caught on the last year , checked the pistons , definatly a Mopar piston , didn`t nic it & ordered a new set of pistons for the block & found out the block is already .030 over & the pistons I ordered ARE also .030 over os I had to order another set of pistons  :banghead:

I'm not gonna order anything until I take it to a machine shop and find out it the block is still usable. I'm going to my shop today to disassemble the block and clean everything. I'll let yall know how that goes.
