Quick two stupid questions

I'm in the middle of putting my heads on. Does anyone know the torque for the shaft rockers? Also what is the proceedure for adjusting the rockers arms? Its a 440 with Comp Cams roller lifters and Crane hydraulic lifters. Do I need to bring each cylinder up to the top and adjust the bolt and lock nut??  :feedback: Do I use a feeler gauge at the tip of the valve and the roller?? Sorry was in a hurry thought I'd make a quick post. My appologies to those who have already answered this question.[/b]

20 -25 ft lbs on the shafts , DO not over tighten them , I have seen totaly distroyed engines all caused by overtorqued rocker shafts
 adjusting the rockers is somewhat complicated , basically rotate the engine & wait for an intake valve to close fully & set the exhuast for the same cylinder using a feeler guage to measure the lash the feeler should be snug to pull out , work you way through the firing order then go back & watch for the exhaust to just start to open & set the intake valve again working through the firing order

Can I set both the exhaust and the intake at the same time. IE rotate until both lifters are down adjust for zero lash then rotate the crank through the firing order doing the rest . Once that is done do it again to double check (also make sure the oil is bleed out from the lifter) and then tighten each one a half of turn then lock the lock nut. I did torque the shaft to 25 lbs. May have goof on one of the head gaskets. When I was installing the second one I noticed that the head gasket said this side towards the head. However the directions on the back of the gasket cover didn't mention this. I got a slight better then 50 percent chance that the firstr head gasket is correct. (Only if it was facing the same in the package) I couldn't see any difference in the head gaskets. Since the SCE directions said they need to be retorqued after firing the motor should I pull the head off and check the orientation? or will the gaskets be ruined?? These are the SCE ICS Titan copper self sealing head gaskets.

I guess I needed to be clearer on if you were running a solid or hyd cam , do not use a feeler guage with a hyd cam
 if you pull the heads you will need new head gaskets , might as well change them later IF you have a problem
