    A big wind is coming. Are you close to the storm?

    Well the rain Faye left was about 20 inches here and we had 3 days of dry so far. I am 300 miles from the gulf, and expect to get more rain days. 

    Anyone here think they may be needing help?  I have room

    It's not looking good. I am down here in Miami and had my share of these storms. This Gustav looks like it may be a monster. It's nice of you to offer refuge. I hope it somehow turns out not as bad as it is starting to look.

    Al, I appreciate it. We might just take you up on the offer. We need to hang out afterward to fend off the looters if it is bad but if it is relatively calm here we might just want to get away and finish up that Nashville vacation.

    Holy Crud! Gustav is up to a cat 4, and now there's TS Hannah off the florida coast. Make me glad I'm on the left coast!

    But seriously, those of you out there in the way of these things take care, and pack up...Gustav looks like a real disaster in the making, hopefully everyone will evacuate. Be safe folks.

    GEE I FEEL FOR YOU GUYS . WE DONT HAVE ANY OF THAT IN OZ REALLY.....A COUPLE OF CYCLONES IN THE PAST 50 YEARS, BUT NOTHING AS SERIOUS AND REPETITIVE AS IN THE USA , HOPE YOU ALL DO OK .

    Being a fellow Aussie :iagree: look out for one another as they are saying this could be the storm of all storms............. take care you guys. :2thumbs: You can never be over prepared, so take extra procautions please.
