Deciphering the date code
« on: September 03, 2008 - 10:14:40 PM »
How do you tell when something was made? For example a part will have a 4 digit number on it like 2509. So what would be the day and month? I know its something like the 2 thousandth 500 and 9th day beginning from...
1960? 1970?

What is the beginning time line they all start with?

Hey TC.............

Sometimes, depending on the part it will be the 250th day of 1969 = 2509 :2thumbs:

1971 Barracuda   (O O {]{]{]|[}[}[} O O)
