Can I have some advice on how to re-fix this S/E headliner?.
« on: September 03, 2008 - 10:29:14 AM »
Hi, does anyone have any advice on how to re-fix this headliner?.
The headboard seems ok, but the headliner material has come away.
Can I spray in some recommended head liner adhesive to re-fix this or will this soak through and ruin it.
Thanks

Looks like the foam backing is gone. I would look into buying new headliner material and recover the whole thing.

Yeah I'm starting to think the same about the foam backing, I went with the 3M all the same. I might try a small patch to see how it goes. Thanks for the heads up on the adhesive Hemiken. I'll post the results either way (sucsess/failure).

Spray the adheasive on the board and let the material sit on the board to glue it. Don't put any pressure on the headliner material. If you do it will flatten the material and not give it a factory look. Good luck with it.
