My new B5 70 Barracuda-how did I do?

Thanks all. I have to admit I became more than a little addicted throughout the hunt. I spent too many hours hunting and calling. My wife is even more happy that I finally found a nice one-I bought and sold 2 green '73 Cudas before finding this one and they were ROUGH! Unfortunately I did not get a fender tag, but I did recover a nearly destroyed broadcast sheet from the passenger bucket seat. It is folded and damaged in places but mostly readable. It came with blue interior as well. The body has no putty/bondo at all and from what I can tell it is the original paint. The stripes are just decals.

The important thing is to have something decent to start with. Some would get all hung up on a missing fender tag, and even reject a car missing it for some rust bucket that has one but needs thousands of $$ and a multitude of replacement nipponese sheet metal panels to make as nice (to the extent that's possible without the original metal..) Unless you suffer some delusion of sitting in the owners pit at Barrett Jackson puffing on a big cigar as your numbers matching concours perfect creation auctions off for $850K, I say put all your money where it really matters and don't worry about it.

Your car is the 4th Gran Coupe with Blue interior for 1970 that i know of, and 1 1971 gran Coupe with Blue interior.  Very hard color interior to find in a Gran Coupe

Looks like it still has that hard to find painted textured rear window trim too. Good thing you got it so cheap, all the "1970 only" stuff goes for top dollar.

I got the car out of Fredonia, Ks which is about one hour east of Wichita on HWY 400. I added the story above about how the previous owner priced the car as well as the Roadrunner in the background-it's pretty funny.
