318 "302" swirl port heads
« on: September 09, 2008 - 02:29:06 PM »
Im switching out my "302" heads for some ported magnums on my 340, hopefully this month some time. Anybody have an idea what these are worth. Got a buddy i might be able to pawn these off on to put on his 318.
Thanks
Dave

not really , I pay $40 at the wreckers for a pair , what has been done to your set , fully machined , new valves , new springs , porting ?
all affect the price
It really comes down to what 2 people are willing to pay for them

New springs, retainers, seals and some home porting just to gasket matach and get rid of the casting flash. I had them bead blasted and cleaned then i checked them at work with dye chem for cracks.
