I am not really sure where to start here..... AC/DC a cover band? You are HIGH!! What were they supposed to do when they lost the lead? Quit? The songs are kind of the same, but almost all bands continue with what was successful. AC/DC fans love it. I am not a hard core fan, but seeing them in concert is freaking awesome. They put on a great show.
I am actually a HUGE Van Halen fan. Original Van Halen actually makes me drive way too fast, the sound is KICK A__!! Sammy Hagar has a different kind of vibe and the tunes definitely changed, but they changed with the times. Seeing both Sammy Hagar and David Lee Roth in concert many times, solo and with the Van Halen brothers...Sammy puts on a way better show, but Diamond Dave is a cocky arrogant prick. Dave knows how to kick bunz and fire up a crowd.
Either one a cover band?? No way. Kill yourself if you think that.
