Slant Six head ?
« on: February 21, 2009 - 11:51:32 PM »
I am trying to help someone on a Dodge Truck Forum, here is his question:

" I know its not a 2nd Gen but i need help. Dodge cant help no one can there all clueless.

My buddy replaced the head on a 78 dodge blown head gasket cracked head, couldn't fix so he bought another one from parts yard. any ways the original head is 6 1/2 inches side to side. valve cover 6 3/4 inches side to side

The new head is 6 inches across, i need to find a valve cover that is 6 1/4 inches across to work. Ive called dodge and they said they cant get the part none of the parts houses carry any for that model of truck. Does any one on here know where i could possibly find one? or maybe a place that sells Re production valve covers? Please help "

Anyone help? CP?
