You might want to hurry up and buy one soon at these prices.  If what I hear is correct, Dodge will not be building many more Vipers.  Employees have been told 2009 and it's done.

The name Viper and the rights might be sold off to the highest bidder.

I ain't sellin' the 'Cuda.  The plan is to save up about 10-grand starting next year and buy a used one very early 2010.

If the announcement is made public about the Viper going away for good, I'll basically run out that day and secure a used one - however possible.

Problem is I owe my wife a new car - she's never had one, and I've already promised her that I'm getting her a truck next year.  Probably a Toyota Highlander or similar.  So I gotta get about 10K put aside for that, start making payments on it, and then saving up for the Viper.

C O D Y - yeah you can help me - I'm looking for an 02 GTS with a black interior and anything but a Yellow exterior with less than 30,000 miles at a price I can convince the wife is worth dropping everything and buying right then.    I know they're worth up to about $42,000 but a price like $35,000 might do the trick!

Alas - pipe dreams.
