Yeah, I know I am in for a little bit of panel replacment, I have seen those roof skin kits, looks like a good way to go.  I guess the big thing that I am torn about is the motor and drivetrain.  Should I have the block fixed and have the motor built to squeeze out the most HP possible or, do I pull the motor and tranny drop a new motor and tranny in and just keep and store the old motor so that I still have all of the #'s matching stuff?  I would love to hear what you all think? :feedback:

Sombody left water in the block and it froze up. I'll bet it's cracked in other places as well.  :angelwings:

Well great pictures, good start for sure.  Get yourself another block and go from there.

Welcome     great starting project, does your wife have any say in this? Does she want it to be totally original?
Plan with her and see what you can come up with, by all means store the original parts that you may not want to use now, keep us informed.   :picture:
