1970-71 Challenger Roof
« on: April 13, 2008 - 09:34:57 PM »
For sale:  Challenger roof removed from a 71 California Challenger.  The roof skin is rust free and dent free.  The entire piece is very clean.  The only flaw is a rust spot on the a-pillar by a screw hole - if you need to install the entire piece this would be an easy fix.  I would sell it for $250 to a Cuda-Challenger member (much lower than the AMD skin).  I can not ship the piece and it is located in northeast Iowa.  I've priced it low enough to make it worth while for someone to make the trip to get it.

Thanks for the free ad!

Update on the roof:  I'd really rather not store this roof any longer so it is now FREE to any cuda-challenger.com member.  This is a very good roof and worth your travel time if you need a roof.  Part is located in Postville, IA.  I'd prefer someone pick it up before winter.

Thanks

Thanks, again!  Got it home with no incidents (except for the Iowa Highway Patrol reminding me that the speed limit on rural highways in Iowa is 55 mph. :eek7: Just a warning though  ).

Your AAR and convertible are very nice. You do great work!

IUU2ROC,
Great find, Nice job Cudaman1970.

IUU2ROC,
Are you going to use the complete skin or section it? I'm looking for basically the passenger side section near the front "A" pillar and drip rail. Maybe a foot square section roughly. The rest of mine is in good condition.

I'd sure help you out on the gas it took to get it plus......?

Thanks, Wes

Sorry for not responding right away. I haven't checked cc.com for a few days. I plan to use the complete roof. My roof is rusted pretty much like the above pictures on the windshield and has some rust holes where it is welded to the quarter panel. I would cut a section out of my old roof and send it to you, if that would help. I'll send you a PM.
