    70 Challenger Light Bar

    Hi Gang,

    I am putting the rallye dash together and the subject of the light
    bar has come up. In reading the archives I see the 70 bar is
    somehow different than the rest. Does anyone know what that
    difference is and can a bar from the later years me modified to
    work?

    I don't think the 70 light bar is unique. The Rally dash light bar has 4 bulbs, where the standard has 3.

    I guess I should have explained. My problem is fitment. I have two light
    bars, one standard and one rallye, and they are both flat; straight. The
    dash has a slight arc to it above the gauges. When mounting the
    light bar there is a gap between the center hole of the bar and the curved
    dash. I have two dashes, one original and one restored, and the problem
    is the same on both. Too bad I do not have the original light bar.

    So I'm thinking maybe the 71 and newer dashes do not have that arc.
    There is a mopar show coming up this weekend. I'll do some research
    there if I can make it.

    I am not aware of a difference in arc ....once screwed into place it should fit properly
