You can buy the proper wrap new, from several vendors, but if you want to clean it, a soft brush and a mild detergent (dish soap) work well. Use something like Dawn or Sunlight (haven't seen Sunlight here for a while), and scrub VERY gently, and brush only down the wrap, so you don't peel back the overlapping edges as you clean.
