Well now, this car is turning out to be an adventure for me.
So I get to the guys place and all seems good, freaking long drive (3 hours plus). Anyways, it’s a farm so I meet the old owner. He’s alright, we have some chit chat about the car and how much fun he has had over the years with mopars. Next thing you know, I’m passed on to his son who knows more about the tags and stuff.
Basically after looking through the sheets and tags (had like 30 of them) I only found one that was 500 off my car. Kinda pissed cause I drove all that way and it wasn’t my tag, he read off the numbers on the phone from a different tag.He also did not let me take any pics of the tags/sheets because he didn’t want people to know the numbers on them, really jumped at me when I pulled out the camera. They also did have a really rough 70 cuda convertible that seemed to be on it’s original paint (red) that he may sell (wants to restore it) but it will probably end up sitting and rotting for a few more years.
Anyone know anybody out of Canada that sells tags/sheets cause this guy seemed to really know a lot about them and dropping names like I actually knew who the hell he was talking about. Telling me about some Hemi tag/sheet he sold for $5K and stuff like that. I guess I’m back to square one now with the tag. Got some new leads but I’m exhausted from calling all these guys so may leave it on the backburner for a few months.
