I plant about ten every year, but I must not have a green thumb, as they never sprout out of the ground.  :dunno:

Do you think I am planting them to deep or to close together.  :clueless:  :dogpile:

We used to raise them when we where young but we don't have the room now.  Home grown chickens and fresh eggs... nothing like them.

At the truck stop I used to work at there would be semi's come thru hauling live birds on occasion. They were stuffed in wire cages and stacked tall with the front half of the trailer usually covered by a tarp to keep the wind off-- but the poor birds in the back always looked half plucked. There were feathers blowing all over the lot.  One evening after two trucks came thru and fueled I walked outside to go to the shop and there were 2 chickens standing in the midle if the fuel island. Those stupid birds ran around the place for 2 days---we could'nt catch them.  They just disappeared finally.  I still don't know how they got out??   This has also given me an idea   :thinkerg:  for my barn diorama. I think I will add a chicken coop and have a couple of chickens standing on the roof of a cuda in the field.     :roflsmiley:
