Wiper Linkage Slop
« on: October 13, 2008 - 11:29:31 AM »
How much slop should there be in the wiper linkage between the pivots and the bushings?  I haven't measured, but I'd guess I have at least .030".  Has anyone had the bushings replaced/re-bushed?

Are you talking about the plastic cam deal? I did buy an original wiper cam kit from the dealer last year.  You might be able to get one on Ebay. I discovered afterwards that the parts were widely used on C bodies as well so there were a ton at a local yard that doesn't crush the older cars.

No.  Talking about the metal "arms" that connect the driver's side to the motor and the passenger's side to the driver's side.  My pivots measure just under 3/8" and my bushings are almost 7/16".
