Will a 73-74 Charger carpet fit in an Ebody?
« on: September 01, 2008 - 12:33:59 PM »
I can't get the carpet color I want in the Ebody selection at YO, but found it in the Bbody for 73-74.   From what I remember, the interiors are almost identical, as far as floor space.  same seats, console etc.

Does anyone know if they are the same, and would the differences be enough to keep the carpet from fitting??

Thanks,
Chris

please dont take this as fact , but the charger is  longer and the challenger a few inches longer than a cuda .i have used b body carpets in e bodys the repro stuff is not real good on form fit .you will find the extra 4 inches in over lap will get you there its close. also a heat gun will help on some small points .c

Thanks Craig,

So your saying the only real difference is length?  Do you think I could trim it to fit then??

thanks again,
Chris

Thanks, thats what I was hoping for.  The Parchment interior of the 73 Charger is about the color I'm going for.  I was wanting a tan carpet that wasn't looped.  More of a modern cut-pile carpet.

I'll check those guys out and see what they can come up with.

Thanks again
