Value of Challenger 440+6 RT/SE
« on: October 16, 2008 - 08:22:29 PM »
I'm looking at a 1970 Challenger RT/SE 440+6 car that has the following, and want to know what you think it is worth:

1.  Perfect build sheet, and everything right fender tag.
2.  Date code correct but not matching number engine.
3.  No rust, no damage.
4.  Restored inside and out except under car, where it is undercoated, like buildsheet says.
5.  Auto/console.
6.  Vinyl top.
7.  Rallye gauges.
8.  Sports hood.
9.  Dana 60 sure grip 4.10
10.  PS/PB

bad news answer here, sorry. It's worth what you willing to pay.  :2cents:
This thought may not be politically correct, but is an opinion offered. It may be correct? or it may be wrong? It is not designed to appease those needing shelter from the real world.

:iagree: If it is an original 440-6 RT/SE Trak Pak car, restored, I would guess anywhere north of $50K

but what you can do is tell us what it is going for, show pictures and i am sure a lot of people here, including myself will let you know if it is a fair price and worth the  :money: with are opinions and then the final choice is yours.

Here you go:
G37 Left Hand Remote, right manual chrome mirrors
HD 727 TorqueFlite
JS29
V code
Dark Burnt Orange paint and interior
Trim--high, Vinyl and Leather buckets
Upper door frame full door panel
Vinyl Roof, white
4.10:1 Dana 60
Rallye Cluster
PB, PS
OH Consolette
Console with Buckets
Hood Tie Down Pins
Sport hood
Roof drip rail moldings
Belt Molding
Duel Exhaust with tips
Tach
Am Radio

Not a full Trak Pak car (missing Hemi suspension and 7 blade fan)
No stripes

Again, a no rust car with perfect build sheet, completely restored except for underside which is undercoated (according to build sheet), all new interior seats, rugs, headliner, rebuilt engine and trans, new vinyl top and paint.
I'm not good at posting pictures, but the car should be easy to visualize.  Price $75K.

I'm new to this, but assume NOM is not original motor.  Also, it is not original trans. --- so, I give up on this one.  Thanks all.

Whatever you look at, it's a buyers market. I would keep that in mind....
70 Cuda, 7.0L Gen-III Hemi, Viper T56 w/9310 gearset, 3.91's, Megasquirt MS3x v3.57, Innovate wideband, Firm Feel upper arms, torsion bars, springs and strut rods, QA1 DA shocks. I did everything on this car except the fancy paint stuff and I drive it...and I can't seem to stop messing with it....

I think 50k should be enough to buy the six pack car you are looking at.  IMO
