I just got 4 from Advance a week or so ago . Fit fine ? Can you compare them to your old lights ?

Are you sure that you put them all in the right spots? I'm not trying to be an ass, just asking the obvious questions. The next one is this: Are you sure that you were given the correct headlamps for all 4 positions? There seems to be a problem with retaining good employees in the big chain stores. Re-check the headlamps against each other, the boxes they came in, and make sure that you have them rightside-up, too (I've done it-doh!). I am only aware of 3 different headlamp designs being used on classic MOPARS: the 2-lamp systems used a big lamp with 3 locating lugs on the back, and 3 electrical terminals. The 4-lamp system used a dedicated high beam lamp, small with only 2 terminals on the back; and a dedicated high-low lamp with 3 terminals, also a small diameter round lamp. The high beams will fit on any of the plugs, but will only fit the high-beam (inner) buckets. The outer lamps will also fit any plug, but will leave one spade uncovered when put in the inner bucket. I think that the outer lamp also only fits the outer bucket, but it's been a while since I have had to mess with a 4-round headlamp system. Neither lamp will fit the bucket upside-down.
