While On The Road

  I spotted this business along Hwy. 157 last week during some work travel. Couple of friendly fellows gave a few minutes of their time to speak to me after a couple of hi-howya-doin's were exchanged. Friendly is a key that unlocks lots of doors Chuck, the first fellow I met told me to go inside the shop\former country church where I could speak to Dave Perry, the owner. After I spoke a bit about the Challenger i'm having rebuilt to Dave, he immediately remarked on how bulletproof my 727 would be, then spoke to small wheelbase racing mentioning Lotus TVR and factory race Cortinas. I asked if I could post a few pics from outside and here they are. Just some folks doin' what makes 'em happy

Fyi, the widening of 157, 4 mostly straight flat lanes from I65/exit 310 to Sheffield, is complete.

Several years ago, I went to check out a car called an Intermecanica Italia.  It looks like a Ferrari but came with sb Ford V8 engines.  This one I looked at came from the factory with a Holman Moody Boss 302 rated at 400hp...sad though, no time, no money...    He had dropped the price from $24k to $16k as he had cancer and needed to sell it.
