glad it helped. Now what to do about it? Was it a failure in the a welded area, that is if there are any? What type of material was the plenum made of?

I was wondering how it was going to WOT with the throttle closed  ???

Glad you found the problem , I had not had time to think it through , even with EFI it usually comes back to the basics
