70' Cuda Factory Battery Hold Down question
« on: October 31, 2008 - 05:43:43 PM »
I ordered me a type 27 factory looking replacement battery.  When I got ready to install it today, I realized the battery hold down isn't right for it.  Is there a source of factory battery hold down kits?  Or should I just find something at the local parts store?
Thanks,
Blueglow

'70 hold downs are different from later year Challengers. Maybe this is your problem?   :dunno: I don't know what a type 27 battery is, but this all has to do with having the correct tray and top mounting bracket.

Noticed Moparals 70 Barracuda was a basic design...later models have a strap that goes to the body...I'd see whats avail locally
