If the "Check Engine" light does not come on when the key is turned to "Run", the possibility lies with the fuses for the ECM, or with the ASD relay. The Automatic Shutdown relay is the main relay for the computer, ignition, and fuel system. Does the fuel pump run? You need to clean the battery connections, check the fuses, and try to start the truck again. If the fuel pump does not run, or the "Check Engine" light does not come on, swap the relay with a relay for some system you do not need for the moment (like the heater blower motor, or the A/C), that uses the same type of relay. If the truck starts, it needs a relay. Even solid state relays can get "lazy" with storage, and this could be the problem.
