Magnum 500 Wheels
« on: November 08, 2008 - 02:27:06 PM »
Does anyone know if there is a single manufacturer for the magnum 500's? Just wondering if there are quality differences that need to be considered.

Anyone know what the current best deal is and where to get them?  I see on E-bay there is a set for 650 with free shipping - no centercaps.

Thanks

I will defer to others, but I don't think anyone is manufacturing the Chrysler Road Wheels -- what many refer to as "mag wheels"   These are the 14 inch "mag 500" with stainless/chrome spokes, black backing and brushed chrome trim rings (like what are on my '74 in my avatar).

On the other hand, if you are refering to the Chrome (no trim rings) Magnum 500 wheel that I believe came out in the late 60's (I think for B Bodies -- and similar to the ones used on Ford, AMC and Buick -- with different centers) -- then I think you can find versions at Stockton, Wheel Vintinges and perhaps others (including some on ebay).

Hope this is helpful.
