Floormat fit

I bought a set of floormats made by Auto Custom Carpets. They are supposed to be custom to fit a Challenger. I don't know what Challenger they are supposed to fit because they are not anywhere close to the shape of my floorpans? I have exactly what is in the picture. Does anyone have any experience with these? I did see floormats were discussed a little before in some old threads.

They just make a generic shape & stitch the name into it , no way those would fit well in a Chall especially a 4 spd

Did the ad state what year of Challenger. Those won't cut it in a 70-74. They won't cut it in the new Challenger either. I think they might be for the 78-83 Challenger. I had one, so that's my best guess.

They are telling me they are custom fit for a 70-74 Challenger. No Way at all. As well as being a goofy shape they are not wide enough. They may be better in a 4sp car because of the wider hump.

Any recommendations on another brand that would be better? I do like the carpet and the stitching.

 I talked to Dantes and a few other vendors who sell custom mats. They all get their mats from ACC and they said they have no complaints with the fit. Just amazes me! ACC insists the pattern is original for a Challenger and I have the correct mats. I don't think I have ever seen an original Challenger mat? Was a carpet style mat even offered? Someone here must know where to get a decent carpet floormat?
