8 3/4. Very strong (not a Dana 60, but still very good), lots of support, easier to change the gearing - what's not to like? I was very happy when I bought my car and saw an 8 3/4 underneath.

9.25??? Did you mean 9.75(Dana 60)?
Can't see a reason to use the non Dana unless u have nothing else to use

What are your intentions as far as how you will drive the car? How much horse power are we talking about?

in my experience the 9.25 is weaker then the 8 .75, by the time Mopar switched to the 9.25 the HP was down
I would use a 8.75 or the Dana only

Dana is great for high horsepower and racing, but big bucks for parts and gears. I would stay with the 8 3/4.

I like my Dana.
but as others have posted, gear swaps with the 8 3/4" are a breeze
