Fuel and Brake line routing?
« on: October 23, 2008 - 11:10:57 AM »
Can someone please post pics of the Fuel line and Brake line routing under the car from front to back?  Also I noticed some areas just inside of the rocker panels on both sides where it looks like a panel could possibly go.  Is there such a panel or is this where the clips that hold the Fuel and Brake lines go?   :clueless:

Thanks for your help!

Jeff  :banghead:

Sorry, I am putting together a '72 Challenger for a friend.  I got it after it was painted and it is a giant jigsaw puzzle!  I have never worked on a Challenger before this.  I am having a BLAST!!!

Thanks for the pics!  They will help alot!

The brake line isn't too bad...just don't let it drag across the battery as your's truly did when fishing it towards the back.   :22yikes:

The fuel line will get tough around the passenger's side wheel well. Take that tire off to give you more room.

Do you possibly have a good picture of how the bracket for the rear brake hose is attached to the floorboard?  It is blocked in that the last pic.

Thanks!

There should be a steel tab welded to the floorboard for the rear brake line hose, similar to the ones on the front framerails for the front brake hoses.
