Where can I find window channel repair parts?
« on: November 14, 2008 - 06:46:59 PM »
Don't know if I said the right name, its the part that goes around the window that the seal sits in. Mine is rusted pretty bad and I need to get pieces to repair it.

I do not know of a new part for that , there is a local wrecker that has a # of E bodys , most are picked over but he might have a pair , you could try calling 403 442 2600 , Heavy metal wreckers

Maybe I'm calling it the wrong thing. I saw a show on TV where they were using patches to fix the corner of the rear windshield, but I don't remember what show it was on. I'll take some pics tomorrow and make sure I'm talking about the right area.

I found what I was looking for. It was window corners.

ook , I thought you needed the seal / drip rail above the doors
I have not been up there for close to a year now , but they may have what you need

I can make repairs on the straight sides with sheet metal, but the corners will be the hard part. Year one only has it for B bodies though.
