Now I'm bummed I just bought a 6.1 for slightly cheaper than your new 6.4, one of the main reasons is because there was no engine management

To control the EFI engine then yes that is all you would need

 How is the system tuned? Do you have to buy a programmer Or can you tune it with a laptop like an hp tuner setup? How does it respond to boost? Do you have to dyno tune or can it be tuned while driving?

Tuning is done by a Diablosport handheld tuner most Supercharger kits already come with a tune to use.

Just a bit of information about the new VVT engines, The oil pickup mounting is a different bolt pattern and the 5.7 and 6.1 oil pans don not fit.
