The bushing on the end is usually worn out.  You can get a new one from R/T Specialties.  Also, on my car, the shaft that rides in that bushing was worn.  If yours is, you'll have to have someone weld up the bad spot and grind it back down to size.  If you don't, the car may not go completely into gear.  My car didn't want to fully engage PARK.

And what about the oil pressure sensor. What type of connector hooks up to this?   :clueless: I thought I had the right one but it doesn't fit. :pullinghair:

you should havae a grey wire with the spade connector on it
