head lights mounts
« on: November 29, 2008 - 08:14:08 PM »
Can someone send me pictures of the front headlight area of their early 70's model mopar?
From the back side?????

I currently have fiberglass fenders with just holes but no brackets or baskets to hold the
headlights (do have light bezels).  Not sure how to proceed from here to mount the lamps,
anybody got an easy to use digital camera and a few minutes to help out?

Many thanks,
Mark

Not exactly sure what you need a pic of, but if these don't help just let me know and I can take more/different angles etc......  :dunno:

Your more than welcome for the pics

I actually have a set of fiberglass fenders that I had on one of my first Challenger still hanging around.
I'll have to go check them out to see what went on back then.........hmmm  :clueless:

Doh.........I forgot they were off my 1st Chally.........a 72 which has the headlight buckets in the header panel  :bricks1:
One had nothing, and the other had a chincy backing.

 As for what to do?
Have you got in contact with the company that made you fiberglass fenders, and see if they happen to make this piece and it is possibly sold separately?
Or possibly getting in touch with other fiberglass resto companies to see if they may offer it?  :dunno:
