Wanting Updated Information On GoodMark Body Panels
« on: December 02, 2008 - 05:27:36 PM »
Hey Guys,

I'm getting ready to purchase the shaker hood and 2 fenders for my 71 Challenger Convertible.  The posts here on the subject seemed old and I was looking for more currect information.  What is everyone's opinion of the GoodMark hoods and fenders?  Should I or shouldn't I?  Thanks I appreciate all of your help.

Dave

There is a thread on this subject in the "Body" section that has 2 pages of replies. Some as recent as yesterday. Don't know how recent you want. I would suggest posting your questions in that thread instead of starting a new one on the same subject. Here's the link!!

I would be looking at the AMD hood , the fenders are supposed to be available shortly , even if the parts are $200 more it takes no time in labor to eat thaat up if the panel doesn`t fit right

we carry both and they both have issues. Biggest thing is that what one vendor has the other doesn't. AMD has the shaker but NO fenders, Goodmark has fenders but NO shaker. they're both stamped over seas so flip a coin.  Neither one is perfect.
