I know that you can make some decent power from a 318 but this is always a fun option too....  :burnout:

Supported Mopar year models include:

A body type 1963-1976
B body type 1962-1974
C body type 1965-1975
E body type 1970-1974
for engine models LA, Magnum 5.2 & 5.9, B, RB, Hemi.

1972 Dodge Challenger Rallye 340, AT, Code TB3=Super Blue, SBD=8/17/1971.  Yes, a Rallye without the fender louvers from the factory because of the body side molding option.

Awesome buy! Looks like a pretty clean car, that's far more important than what engine is in there. I'd rather have a clean 318 car than a rustbucket with a BB.

You could always just get a stroker kit for it too, 318's go out to 390 with a 4" stroke. That and some heads with 2.02/1.60 valves would make plenty of power! And it would retain the original block.
