That's the kicker with tubular arms. They only have $50 with of stuff in them, and they sell for HUGE dollars.

Wally, thanks again for the offer. I am in no big rush and if you really need I would hate to take this away from you.
If you are really ok, vryfast feel free to let me know.

Thanks!

I saw the review on them in the magazine, does anyone have any info on them? what benefits or negative effects they would have on an otherwise stock suspension?  :feedback:

Benefits they MAY have, varies from manufacturer to manufacturer; increased rigidity, lighter weight, ability to get additional caster, increased ability for negative camber gain.

Rigidity and weight aren't huge concerns for a street car. Extra caster can come from Moog offset bushings for $50. Increased negative camber gain can come from using FJM spindles for $50 or less form your local salvage yard. So you can gain half of the benefits for a third of the cost. The other half of the benefits you have, but won't be fully realized.

If you don't run the FJM spindles the ability to handle the camber gain is not used. I don't believe that worry about the K727 upper ball joints getting over extended is realistic. It's just someone trying not to be liable in this lawyer infested world.

Not a damn thing.

Except being shiny and tubular.

I've run 50K HARD miles on my Barracuda with stock upper arms and the suspension very lowered. I don't run LCA bumper bushings and it's 1 1/2" between the steel LCA and the steel chassis frame. It's got the same ball joints, pitman, and upper moog 7103 offsett rubber bushings that I installed 15 years ago in 1993! Alignment shop said everything is fine in 2007.

But recently I was checking the suspension and the output shaft of the steering box is a little loose. That was a Mopar remanufactured box in 1993. I would assume a reman is new guts in an old case. Whereas a rebuilt is just new bearings and seals. ??? Is that correct about the difference?
