sounds like it'll be a great project, was it gutted and tubbed with a cage?

Not tubbed but leaf springs moved to allow for wider tires.
It has a roll cage, two defunked micro-lock for front brakes,
fiberglass front fenders and hood as well as front clip. The cosmetics are a little rough.
So I am looking for a resonably priced one piece front end.

The car is light and fairly quick but I would not say fast, I realy don't know what times it might run.
I am looking forward to finding out, but I have a lot of work to do.

I'll be suprised if someone will not have some advice. At least hopefully.

I'm trying to make it street legal, first. I believe I can run in a different class, street or super street, not sure which.
Is it legal to run street class with glass pac's mid car not piped out the back?

I need a electronic ignition, it is presently running points.
And it hydraulics the lifters on top end when breaking traction.

the motor has plenty of torque but not crisp throttle response.
partially I think  that it is carboration, but it could be so many things.

I did not build this motor, and even if I did I'm no expert. Having built only one motor a 440  fiftee years ago
coincedently they were both from fury III's.

One from an actual police car, I know because I took it out in the junk yard.
this one ,the one in the car acording to the #'run on google turns out it was from 78 fury III the same as my previous one.

Thanks Mark
