    Intermediate cable hook to trans cross member

    Does anybody have a pic of how this hook goes for a 71 challenger.  The hook seems to be way to short for reaching the cable.  The hook is about 6" long.

    Have you loosened up the adjustment nut? I've always had to do that when removing/instaling the hook.

    Yes, the adjustment rod measures 18" and I have 2 threads showing.
