Only 6 months later but I finally was able to get some pics of the chally. They were on their way out so I only got a couple of real quick pics with my phone. It looks sad sitting there with its tires going flat. Whats worse its really a nice solid car!!

Maybe you need to convince him to get the car back on the road and put some air in those tires, poor chally.  Were they nice people?

Both times I met the guy he seemed to be in a hurry otherwise seemed pretty nice. Its a 383 car with lots of options. If the economy was better I'd try buying it!!! 70 is my favorite year Challenger!

Did you mention to him that you have a Cuda?  :clueless:  It might open up some conversation...  :dunno:
1972 Dodge Challenger Rallye 340, AT, Code TB3=Super Blue, SBD=8/17/1971.  Yes, a Rallye without the fender louvers from the factory because of the body side molding option.

Pic #2 and 3 of my ARII 1/24 scale model car

Phil in New England-Massachusetts  Always thank God for what you have!

That was the first words out of my mouth. When I took these pics I was actually in the Cuda but they where coming out to go somewhere and that is why the garage door was up. :2thumbs:

It is extremely solid and looks like if you pumped up the tires and buffed it out it would be a very nice driver. According to the owner it still runs good. It wont for long if it stays sitting there.

I just call the owner and asked him if he wanted to sell it and of course no was his answer. The good new is that he is planning a full on restoration for it coming up soon!!

Great story! I had a new family move into my neighborhood about 4 months ago, turns out he has a '70 6-bbl Cuda (lime green 4spd). His wife and my wife were talking at the bus stop while waiting for the kids to come home from school, when they somehow got on the topic of old cars. Imagine the shock when they realized their husbands have the same car (although mine is red / automatic). He came over to look at my car but I have not seen his yet, after he builds a garage at his house he'll bring it home from storage.

Where have we heard this before. I hope he comes through and really does it. Looks like a sweet car.
