Is a '72 Challenger Rallye supposed to have spring loaded hood wedges?

Thanks!  :cooldancing:

I believe they all have them, except for maybe the T/A Challenger since that hood is fiberglass.

Darn I was afraid you or someone would post that just after I made that remark.   Barry, I am not begging for nothing.   If you will let me send you some money for it, I will take it.  And I mean more then just shipping.  Use the money for your H.R.S.

I was planning on buying a new one, but I love original stuff.   Also, if you pull 36 wheel trim screws out of that magic bucket of yours, I will buy them to. I wanna install my chrome around my fender wells

Jmartin99,  I am sorry for stepping on your post :worshippy

Thanks guys!  I looked when I got home and found the mounting holes in the fenders.  I was not sure where they went but found a couple of pics on this AWESOME website and knew where to look for holes when I got home.

I do have another question though, Are there supposed to be rubber bumpers where the hood and fenders meet somewhere near the front of the car?  I do not see a place to mount them.  Do they have a rubber tab on the bottom that goes thru a hole or are they held on with a screw? :dunno:

Thanks!  :clapping:

It looks like it is screwed on from here. I'll have a better look later today.

EDIT:  Yes, that front bumper screws on. Mine isn't screwed in all the way. You have to adjust the height of the bumper for your needs. Also, mine is a 70, so your front header panel looks different, I'm sure, but the mumper location should be the same.

The fenders in these photos are for 1970 models, 1972 fenders are a bit different I am sure.  :2cents:
