Well., I was 2 yrs old then , so I would have my dad order one for me, but I would try to tell him a 'Cuda with a 'Hemi, In-Violet color, white interior, dual racing mirrors, power discs, power steering, rallye dash, protection package, light group, elastomeric bumper pkg, Super Trac Pak, (with D21 4-spd),console,Comfort Position 6 way driver's seat adjuster, tinted glass, glovebox lock, 50 amp alt, 70 amp battery, rear window defogger, variable speed wipers, undercoating, headlight time delay and warning signal, wheel lip mouldings, power windows, Am/FM stereo, rear speakers, leather bucket seats, sport stripe,Rim Blow steering wheel,Firm Ride shock absorbers, xtraHD suspension pkg, and either 15" Rallyes or 15" steel (police cruiser) type wheels!  Phew!  that's it, and oh yeah, one more thing, throw in a Tor -Red AAR , too, huh?!

I don't know what is up with you guys & panther pink! Is it just because it was a rare color, or are you just more in touch with your femenine side? :D
Because there's now way I could actually drive around in a pink musclecar & think I'm cool! ;D
But that's me.

I'd say a black 70 Charger (picture) R/T, power windows, sunroof, HEMI!!

Would have to say, stick with what I have! :D

Well ok, I would order a Hemi, pistol grip with console and all options.  No sssshaker though just don't look good on a chally.

I'd buy a leftover (is that allowed?) '69 GTX, 4 speed, blue with a black vinyl top.  I saw one exactly like this 25 years ago when I was walking to school and it was the first time I'd ever heard a big V8 revved to 5 grand through the gears.     :o

That was the day I became a Mopar lover!

The year is 1970, and i have enough money to go in to any dealership and buy a brand new car?
The decision is easy. I go straight for the used car lot and pick out 2 used cars for the price of 1 new car. I would pick out an electric blue metallic 68 Barracuda Formula S 340 convertible with white interior and white sport stripes and a red 68 Charger RT with black vinyl top and white bumble bee stripe (Hemi would be nice, but i would be just as happy with the 440).

JS27N0B, that is a beautiful car!!!

The guy I bought my cuda from 5 yrs ago had a red 70 R/T vert, 383 that was was just like yours. I found out a few months later he sold it for $17K.  :o Half of what it was worth at the time, my guess.  I wished he told me he was thinking of selling it when I bought the cuda :'(

Thanks Cuda! :)
if it was a clean car I'm sure you're right about the price being half it's worth, just think what it would be worth today. It's getting to the point that I "almost" don't want to drive mine.
